Half-ovoid of hide. Upper band section decorated with wrapped beadwork. Flap of canvas that covers the upper 1/4th has 5 rows of brass beads attached to its edge. This has in turn a rectangular beadwork strip attached with three smaller flaps - two at each end and one in the middle. Beaded flaps have linear designs worked into the lacy beadwork
