Object Description

Rectangular mat made of strips of plant fibre that have been woven together with threads of string in 5 bands - 2 on the sides and 3 down the middle - perpendicular to the direction of the plant fibres. One narrow edge has short lengths of stitched design filling the spaces between the longer bands of weaving.
