Object Description
Irregularly shaped hide cape ( it follows the outline of the skin of the animal from which it was taken and is used sideways so that the horizontal runs through the tail and the neck regions. The upper waist band area is heavily decorated with a wide band of brass studs that stretch across its full length. Attached to the bottom of this band is a narrower strip of beadwork with inverted triangular designs. From this a number of long bead strands dangle to which small beaded decorations have been added some ending in brass bells and others in small beaded flaps.
