    Object Description

    Ovoid vessel with pointed lid with round knob at its end. The body of the vessel and the lid are carved with vertical grooves with 4 panels of horizontal grooves. The body is surrounded by a superstructure of two concentric rings with 4 vertical pillars supporting the upper one on the lower one which is in turn supported by 4 cylindrical legs. Between the superstructure and the vessel is a gap and the two are joined by horizontal cylindrical struts. The rings, struts and pillars are all carved with parallel grooved rings around them.
