Rectangular crossbar curves slightly downwards towards the narrow ends . The flat vertical narrow ends of the bar are carved with vertical grooves. The headrest has four legs - two on each side. These are in the shape of 'W's. The legs are flat on their inner planes but are rounded along their lengths. They are deeply grooved across their short length from side to side
