    Object Description

Stem becomes a horizontal circle bisected by a pillar. The bowl is supported on this and leans back at a slight angle. Underneath this structure is a centrally placed snake - the tip of its tail touches the top of the circle and it arches away from the horizontal and then joins it again where its neck and head meet the underneath of the stem. The bowl and stem are decorated with metal designs and the bit end of the stem has a metal collar. There is some metal wire wound unevenly around the top of the stem.
