    Object Description

    Ceramic vessel that flares out from a rounded base into a spherical shape. From just above the midline the vessel sides slope upwards with a less curved profile narrowing to its mouth . It is decorated with linear and organic designs engraved and rolled into the red-brown clay. On one side are 3 black marks from the firing. It has a flat conical woven imbenge as a cover.
