Finial is the extension of the shaft which curves in a slight 'S' shape. The shaft broadens to become a finial with flat sides, and concave groove that runs around its outer edge. A narrow triangular blade is inserted into the concave surface of the finial and its narrow end projects out of the convex surface. The finial is decorated with geometric designs and there is a rectangular lid which seal off a hollow space inside the finial.
