Plain cream-coloured paper-covered mount board (of strawboard), with the photographic studio’s imprint on the bottom left hand corner in blue ink (“P Morozaw. Art Photographer, Durban, Natal.”The black and white photograph appears to be a later copy of and earlier original. It is mounted on a frame of brown paper, which is itself mounted onto the plain cream-coloured mount board described above. There is a plate-mark on the cream mount board.
