Archaeological scientist, specialising in chronometric and biomolecular methodologies. Researching human evolution, with a focus on anatomically modern human dispersals and the demise of archaic groups (Neanderthals, Denisovans) across Eurasia. Principal Investigator of FINDER project (€2M, ERC Starting grant) aiming at discovering and analysing new human fossils from Eurasia using palaeoproteomic approaches (ZooMS). >50 published journal articles and book chapters, including articles in Nature (5), Science, PNAS, PLoS ONE, Journal of Human Evolution, Current Anthropology, Antiquity. Citation h-index : 23
