Proposal Description
This application is for permission to sample Khoesan Holocene dental specimens for extraction and analysis of ancient DNA (to be performed at the Centre for Geogenetics, Copenhagen). Three of the skeletons will also be sampled (rib or femur) for dating; this material will also be exported to Copenhagen. Application is for materials housed at Iziko Museums Cape Town, Western Cape.
