Matodzi Silidi

Matodzi Silidi is the Managing Director for Ecorite Consultants. Ecorite Consultants specializes in the integrated Environmental Management services such as EIA, Basic Assessment, OHS and Heritage Impact Assessment.Ecorite Consultants is based in Polokwane and has satellite offices in Nelspruit, Midrand and Brits.Matodzi Silidi has worked for the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA) as Limpopo Provincial Assistant Manager. He served under the Mapungubwe Archaeological Task Team that managed and drived the process of declaration of Mapungubwe as National Heritage Site and subsequently as World Heritage Site.Matodzi Silidi conducted extensive excavations during winter holidays with Wits University under Professor Tom Huffman for about 3 years. He also assisted in the Mapungubwe and K2 archaeological rehabilitation project during 2002/3. Matodzi Silidi also worked for the Roads Agency Limpopo as an Environmental Engineer for about 7 years.He is currently doing both EIA and HIA for Linear projects such as Roads and Powerlines
