Proposal Description
Calodex (Pty) Ltd (Calodex) is proposing the development of a 100 megawatt (MW) Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Facility approximately 5km north of Springs in the Gauteng Province. The proposed Solar PV Facility will be developed in an area of approximately 252 hectares, on six land portions, namely Portion 207 of Farm Geduld 123, Portion 208 of Farm Geduld 123, Portion 209 of Farm Geduld 123, Portion 44 of Farm Geduld 123, Portion 37 of Farm Geduld 123 (the Remainder) and ERF 2 of Enstra Township.
