Eskom is proposing to build a 14km 22kV powerline and dismantle the Herbet Vaalfarm existing line.
The proposed line will run parallel to the existing line within the same servitude (10 m apart). The proposed 14 km line will transverse between four farms and supply power to customers in the Douglas area, Northern Cape.
