Tongati Site

I intend to use standard archeological mapping, surveying, and excavating techniques to identify the material culture within the stratigraphic layers of the Tongati site. This archeological site with its proximity to the Sibudu Cave could give us crucial knowledge of the past cultural heritage within the Middle Stone Age. This proposal will help to ensure the safety and conservation of the site and the environment surrounding it. This site is located within the province of ZwaZulu-Natal, within the Ilembe District, and the local KwaDauza local municipality.
