The Malelani Station Precinct has been identified as one of a series of heritage sites along the N4 Maputo corridor, that meets the criteria for the National Heritage Site. The site is a physical manifestation of Southern African Labor History which form the base of the area's economy and infrastructure. This route is of historic significance.
