The author was appointed by Environmental Assurance (Pty) Ltd to undertake a Phase 1 Archaeological Impact
Assessment (AIA) for Anglo American Platinum’s proposed ACP (Anglo Converting Process) weighbridge on a
portion of Portion 67 of the Farm Waterval 303 JQ near Rustenburg, North West. The aim of the study is to
determine the scope of archaeological resources that could be impacted by the construction of the proposed
weighbridge.
