PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS (PPP) FOR AN AMENDMENT OF THE PROSPECTING RIGHT ( RENEWAL DMRE REF 17003 PR)

Singo Consulting (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as an independent Environmental Consultant by Mashinini (Pty) Ltd to amend an existing coal Prospecting Right (Renewal Ref MP 30/5/1/1/2/17003 PR) on all the portions of the farm Grootrietvallei 64 HT, Wakkerstroom Magisterial District, Mpumalanga Province.

The exploration conducted on the aforesaid farm has proved that there are other minerals (Gold, Cobalt, Chrome, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Nickel, Silver, and Zinc) that were not granted on the prospecting right, Hence the appointed consultant should amend the existing prospecting right through section 102. This process will involve conducting of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Compile an Environmental Management Programme report (EMPr) and undertake Public Participation Process (PPP).
