The applicant, FMB Boedery, proposes the expansion of cultivation and associated infrastructure on Portion 3 of
the Farm Tubb’s Hill 650 LT, in the Letsitele Valley near Nkowankowa, within the Greater Tzaneen Municipality. A
large section of the property is already under cultivation – and has been for many years – and here the applicant
is in the process of replacing the old mango orchards with macadamia orchards, but they now propose the
expansion of the cultivated area onto a further 18.5ha section, which consists of indigenous vegetation. Avocados
are planned to be planted here.
