Export Permit for Archeological mortars from Robben Island for academic research

The importance of compatible restoration of historic masonries cannot be overemphasised as it helps maintain the historic structures for sustainable development, economic growth, and representation of a country’s history.
My research study works towards characterising the original mortars from buildings on Robben Island, in the western Cape and proposing the suitable repair mortars for these buildings of great historical significance.
