Export Permit for Archeological mortars from the Castle of Good Hope for academic research

The importance of compatible restoration of historic masonries cannot be overemphasised as it helps maintain the historic structures for sustainable development, economic growth, and representation of a country’s history.
My research study works towards characterising the original mortars from the Castle of Good Hope, in the western Cape and proposing the suitable repair mortars.
