Request for temporary permits for urgent rubble removal works in the National Assembly under the Parliament Fire Project

On the 2nd January 2022 a fire broke out in the Parliament Precinct, destroying the Old Assembly, National Assembly and New Assembly. The aim of this submission is to apply for and obtain an urgent Permit from SAHRA for the urgent removal of rubble and combusted waste in the Old Assembly that was destroyed by fire. Further engineering progress can only be made when the site is cleared and made safe for professionals.
