Eskom Echoba - Der Brochen 132kV line

This project is initiated by Eskom to ensure continuous reliable supply for the Steelpoort Area. The proposed construction of a ± 12km 132kV Bersfort line between Maphuta MTS (Uchoba Substation) and Der Brochen Substation is required to strengthen the network. It is crucial to improve the reliability and quality of supply of the network.
The proposed project is located to the south of Steelpoort and Ga-Mampuru, east of Ga-Malekana and the De Hoop dam, in the jurisdiction of Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality, Sekhukhune District Municipality, Limpopo Province. The project is proposed on Portions 0, 6, 7, 1, of the Farm Dwars Rivier 372 KT and Portions 3, 7, 0 of the Farm Thorncliffe 374 KT.
