Destructive analysis of fossil bones for Basal Sauropodomorpha of Southern Africa

Permit application for destructive analysis of fossil bones of Plateosauravus and Telle River dinosaur, unofficially 'Euskelosaurus'. These basal Sauropodomorpha are from the Eastern Cape and Lesotho and would give insight into how large herbivorous dinosaurs would have grown and their palaeobiology. The fossils of interest are from the Iziko South African Museum in Cape Town and all research will be done at the University of Cape Town.
