Proposal Description
The adjacent Msenge Emoyeni Wind Energy Facility has been selected as preferred bidder via a private offtaker and it is the intention of the developer to construction the Iziduli Emoyeni Wind Energy Facility together with the Msenge Emoyeni Wind Energy Facility. Therefore, in order to meet financial close requirements and comply with the requirements of the Environmental Authorisation (as amended) i.e “The Environmental Management Plan (EMP) submitted as part of the application for environmental authorisation must be amended and submitted to the Department for written approval prior to commencement of the activity. The recommendations and mitigation measures recorded in the EIR dated November 2010 must be incorporated as part of the EMPR. Once approved, the EMP must be implemented and adhered to.“ Therefore the applicant has undertaken to prepare the final EMPr(s), Final layout and undertake the necessary specialist walkthrough's to inform this process. The Final EMPr, Layout and accompanying walkthrough reports have been made available for public review and comment
