Proposal Description
The Applicant, City of uMhlathuze Local Municipality proposes to construct the Ntambanana Water
Supply Scheme. The project is funded through the Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) and will provide
safe, reliable, and sustainable water services to the rural communities of Mkhonto, Hlaza, Obizo,
Malongweni, Maqedipuleti, Ndondwane, Mambuka, Magwetshana and Makholwase areas located
approximately 16 kilometers north of Empangeni.
