Proposed development of the Poortjie Wes Cluster Grid Connection near Beaufort West in the Western Cape

Poortjie Wes Cluster Grid (Pty) Ltd. proposes to develop 132kV grid connection infrastructure near the town of Nelspoort in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The Project is a part of a cluster of 6 solar energy facilities known jointly as the Poortjie Wes Cluster. The Project site is located within the Beaufort West Renewable Energy Development Zone (REDZ 11) and the central transmission corridor.
