Sibanye Solar PV Plant Activity 28 Basic Assessment on Farm Uitval

Sibanye was granted an Environmental Authorisation to develop a 200MW solar PV plant on the farm Uitval 280, Portions 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 in the Merafong City Local Municipality near the Sibanye Gold Driefontein and Kloof mining operations. A new application for a basic assessment, Part 2 amendment application and the submission of the final EMPr has been made to the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) for approval.
