The activities entail the development of an up to 150MW photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure, on the Remaining Extent of Portion 6, Portion 43, Portion 26 & Portion 28 of the farm Brakspruit No. 370, Registration Division IP, North West Province situated within the City of Matlosana Local Municipality area of jurisdiction. The town of Klerksdorp is located approximately 20 km south of the proposed development.
The project entails the generation of up to 150MW electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels. The total footprint of the project will approximately be 410 hectares (including supporting infrastructure on site).
