The activities entail the development of an up to 350MW photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure on Remaining Extent of Portion 1 Remaining Extent of Portion 2, Portion 5 & Portion 7 of the farm Turfbult No. 494, Registration Division KR, situated within the Bela-Bela Local Municipality area of jurisdiction. The town of Bela-Bela is located approximately 2km north of the proposed development.
The project entails the generation of up to 350MW electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels. The total footprint of the project will approximately be 305 hectares (including supporting infrastructure on site).
