Southern Proteins - Notice of an AEL application in terms of Section 46 of NEM:AQA

Southern Proteins is applying for an Atmospheric Emission License (AEL) in terms of Section 46 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act 39 of 2004 (NEM: AQA). The application was submitted to the South African Atmospheric Emission Licensing & Inventory Portal on 6 October 2022 (Submittal ID: 5154).

The NEM: AQA, requires AEL applicants to bring their applications to the attention of relevant organs of state, interested persons and the public.

Please see attached a notification letter for your attention. The notification provides you with an opportunity to submit comments or objections to the AEL application. Should you have any comments or objections to the AEL application, please forward these to us on or before 15 November 2022.
