Proposal Description
The work was done in 2017 due to a storm on the 10th October 2017 that blew away most
of the existing Asbestos cement roof. An insurance claim was submitted and the insurance
company approved a roof specialist to correct the existing roof. Asbestos cement is outlawed and a decision was made to use chromadek roof sheeting for the following reason. The slope of
the roof is nearly flat, only 3 degrees, and it was considered to be a better material to use than
the old Asbestos. There is no change in the elevations due to the flatness of the roof. See the
attached photographs.
