Daisy Solar PV Facility and associated grid connection infrastructure, Northern Cape Province

The development of a solar photovoltaic (PV) facility with a contracted capacity of up to 360MW is proposed by Energy Team (Pty) Ltd on a site located located approximately 20km west of the town of Komaggas, and 24km southeast of Kleinzee. The project is located in the Nama Khoi Local Municipality within the Namakwa District Municipality, Northern Cape. The solar PV development will be known as the Daisy Solar PV Facility. The Daisy Solar PV Facility is located within Focus Area 8 of the Renewable Energy Development Zones (REDZ), which is known as the Springbok REDZ, and within the Northern Corridor of the Strategic Transmission Corridors.
