Litha Solar PV

The activity entails the development of an up to
240MW photovoltaic solar facility and associated
infrastructure on the Remaining Extent of the Farm
Schaapvlaak No. 489, Remaining Extent of Farm
Meijers Rust No. 168 and Remaining Extent of the
Farm Commandants Pan Zuid No. 142, situated
within the Matjhabeng Local Municipal area of
jurisdiction. The town of Henneman is located
approximately 12km south‐east of the proposed
development (refer to the attached locality map).
The project entails the generation of up to 240MW
electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels.
The total footprint of the project will approximately
be 512 hectares (including supporting
infrastructure on site). The property on which the
facility is to be constructed will be leased by Mulilo
Renewable Project Development (Pty) Ltd from the
property owner, for the lifespan of the project
(minimum of 20 years)
