The activity entails the development of an up to 240MW photovoltaic solar facility and associated infrastructure on Remaining Extent of Farm Beyers No. 186, Remaining Extent and Portion 1 of the Farm Vlakplaats No. 375, situated within the Matjhabeng Local Municipal area of jurisdiction. The town of Henneman is located approximately 4 km west of the proposed development (refer to the attached locality map). The project entails the generation of up to 240MW electrical power through photovoltaic (PV) panels.
The total footprint of the project will approximately be 402 hectares (including supporting infrastructure on site).
