Development of the Bultfontein MainTransmission Substation (up to 400kV) and Overhead Powerline (275kV or 400kV) to support the Bultfontein Cluster of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) facilities located near Bultfontein in the Free State

South Africa Mainstream Renewable Power Developments (Pty) Ltd ("Mainstream") is proposing to develop a Main Transmission Substation (up to 400kV) and Overhead Powerline (275kV or400kV) and associated Electrical Grid Infrastructure support the Bultfontein Cluster of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) facilities located near Bultfontein in the Free State Province. The proposed grid connection infrastructure is required to evacuate and feed electricity generated by the PV facility to the national grid.
