Bio2Watt Energy Holdings (Pty) Ltd (BEH) are proposing to develop an organic waste-to-energy Biogas Plant at Sunderland Ridge, Gauteng Province, South Africa (hereafter referred to as the Project). To meet investor requirements, an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process is currently being undertaken in fulfilment of South African legislation as well as the International Finance Corporation Performance Standards on Environmental and Social
Sustainability (IFC PS), dated January 2012 and other applicable requirements. To align with the South African regulatory terminology, this study will be referred to as an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
