BASE-2 Barberton Mokhanjwa World Heritage Site

Drill core site BSE-2, located 51m from geosite 208 and 66m from geosite 148 within a SAHRA Geosite polygon, which forms part of the Barberton Makhonjwa World Heritage Site.Core drilling of 5cm diameter and 500m length.Half of the core will be stored at the national South African Donkershoek core storage facility outside Pretoria, and the other half at the Core Repository for Scientific Drilling at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) in Berlin.
