    Object Description

    Ink drawing depicting a prostrate shepherd with some visible wounds on his back, presumed that he is dead. His crook is above his head on the ground.  Lying next to him is a dead sheep, and both the shepherd and the sheep are below a male lion who is looking off in to distance at other fleeing sheep.

    Presented by Sir Sigismund Neumann, Bt in 1912, stored at the Tate and arrived in SA in 1916
