    Object Description

    A reference to Irving Berlin’s popular holiday ballad in this color-negative film still of Bing Crosby in the famous 1954 film "White Christmas."  The added strokes are as a result of the transfer between negative to still to print. A man in a suit and hat with a jacket on his left arm, looking down with a mirthful look on his face. Background appears to be a residential setting with table and vase of flowers to the left, with arched feature to the right.
