1) A PIA desktop study must be carried out since the area is located within the orange zone. No validation or explanation is given of the type of fossils that may be found in the area, more information is needed to make a decision.2) An HIA phase one for the built environment must be done since the heritage practitioner did not validify his grading of the structures that he stipulated was of low value: information is needed regarding the age of the structures since any built environment and even a structure or part there of which is older than 60 years are regarded as significant. Ownership history of the farm will indicate how old the structures are and what they were used for. To validify the significance the heritage practitioner must investigate the bricks: are they sun baked bricks, or oven baked bricks, do they have any factory name on them? An architectural heritage specialist will be necessary for this exercise, or someone specialising in the Built Environment since the type of bricks, their age as well as the methodology by which the structures were built, is necessary as well as their function, before one can make a conclusion regarding their value, especially referring to their technical value and historical significance: The photos are also not clear since the grasses are high, better photos are needed of the structures or ruines.
