Public consultation process: the advertisement was placed in the Mercury on the 28 November 2022.  The thirty days for response is calculated from the 29 November 2022 to the 28 January 2023 as the period from the 16 December 2022 to the 15 January 2023 is excluded from the response period.  An email confirming the advertisement was sent to Riona Sewnarain, the official who had submitted the case, on the 28 November 2022.A similar email was sent to all interested and affected parties who had registered interest in this case, as well as architectural professional bodies, and registered heritage societies in the Durban area on the same day and the advertisement was placed on the Institute's website.The case will be placed on the agenda of the review meeting to be held on the 1 February 2023 and the applicants and interested and affected parties will be advised of the time slot of this item on the agenda.
