The proposed development lies in a Very High sensitive palaeontological sensitive zone (http://www.sahra.org.za/sahris/map/palaeo). Thus SAHRA APM unit will require a field based Palaeontological Impact Assessment, the assessment should also assess the 132kV power line route.
SAHRA awaits the study before further comment can be made to this case.
