Interim CommentSAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit accepts the recommendations in the HIA report and the PIA report; however a Chance Fossil Finds procedure was not included in the PIA report and the author of the PIA report did not declare his independence from the project. The PIA must be amended to include both the Chance Fossil Finds procedure and the declaration of Independence with the project title, signed by the author.
