Interim CommentThe South African Heritage Agency (SAHRA) Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) Unit cannot provide comments on this proposed mine development without the submission of the correct HIA report for the proposed mine. Also, SAHRA requires clarity on the environmental application process that was undertaken in order to get approval for the proposed coal mine, as well as when the Environmental Authorisation application was first submitted, and when it was approved, if it is approved.SAHRA will comment on this application once the aforementioned information is submitted to the case.Please ensure that the applicant information and consultant information is changed to reflect the company who owns the mine, the the consultants name should be the consultant who is undertaking the environmental application and mining application.
