SAHRA has no objection to the proposed installation of text panels at various sites on Robben Island and the memorial seating at Murray’s Harbour. The text panels and memorial seating will aid and improve the visitor's interpretation of Robben Island. It is imperative that the existing heritage fabric is maintained and preserved throughout the installation process. Immediately notify SAHRA, if there are any deviations. As a condition, a close out report must be uploaded to the case on SAHRIS with photographs of the completed works.
