Final Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) cannot provide comments to the Amendement Application because a HIA report by a suitably qualified archaeologist was not submitted to the case for comment along with the draft EIAr. The development was not mapped on the SAHRIS palaeomap and an assessment of palaeo resources was not undertaken. The SAHRA advises the competent authority to reject the application or withhold providing a decision on the application pending the submission of the heritage reports to SAHRA for commenting.
