The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites Unit supports the authors’ recommendation that an EIA-level palaeontology report be conducted to assess the value and occurrence of fossils in the development area and the effect of the proposed development on the palaeontological heritage. Once this study has been submitted, SAHRA will be able to provide further comments.
