Interim Comment
The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology and Meteorites (APM) cannot provide comments to the Mine Right Application because a HIA report by a suitably qualified archaeologist was not submitted to the case for comment along with the draft EIAr. The development was not mapped on the SAHRIS palaeomap and an assessment of palaeo resources was not undertaken. The SAHRA will only comment onces these reports are submitted to the case for commenting. This must be done prior to the EA being granted.
