Interim Comment The SAHRA Archaeology, Palaeontology, Meteorite Unit acknowledges receipt of the dBAR and HIA reports with the recommendations provided therein. It is noted that a a kml. detailing the geographic location and power line routes of the proposed project have not been submitted as required. As such the application cannot be subjected to Palaeontological Assessment through SAHRA's PalaeoSensitivity Maps.  Therefore, it is requested that a kml. of the project area and power line routes files be submitted for Palaeontological Assessment.  Further comments will be issued upon receipt of the above. The applicant is advised to extend the EA process in terms of section 19(1)b of the NEMA EIA regulations to comply with this comment.
